Day 1Welcome to Dunhuang
This itinerary runs from Dunhuang to Xining. On arrival in Dunhuang, a private transfer takes you to your hotel for a welcome dinner. Departures from Xining follow the itinerary in reverse.

Day 2Dunhuang: choose your desert experience
Route A visits the Singing Sand Dunes, Crescent Lake and Mogao Caves. Route B spends the day following an ancient Silk Road desert route. Route C combines the Mingsha cultural gathering with Mogao Caves. Board the Silk Road Express afterwards for Qinghai.

Day 3Chaka's salt-lake landscapes
